The advertiser for many years finisher and manufacturer to
all (of note) of this trade, in London and Dublin, who first
reduc'd the price of watch work in this country, and
continues to bring it to the utmost perfection. Watches
cleaned at two shillings, glasses one shilling each; main
springs, inside chains, enamell'd dial plates at four
shillings each--every particular in repairing at half price.
And, what never was profess'd by any watch maker, no future
expence, either for cleaning or mending.
J. Simnet. At the low shop, aside the coffee house bridge,
New York.
  Rhyming Pivot of York,
  With head, tight as cork.
Which proves, you to, Grub-street belong,
  With your neighbour agree,
  That the reader may see,
  Your merit's a joke or a song.
